Working with businesses
We offer a range of opportunities to support businesses. Working with us can help you become an active player in the development of the fastest growing part of the Capital: London’s Leading Edge.
Our goal is to support sustainable and inclusive growth that benefits businesses and communities.
Addressing skills gaps with businesses
We are engaging with businesses and representative bodies to ensure employers’ needs shape training provision locally in five key sectors.
We launched our Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP), a business-led and data-driven blueprint for better matching training provision to the needs of local employers, following extensive consultation.
This research identified five priority sectors:
• Construction.
• Digital and Creative.
• Health and Social Care.
• Manufacturing.
• Transport/Logistics.

Help to fill your vacancies
Our employment programmes help local people get into good jobs, including those who are hardest to reach and furthest from the job market. Calling on our network of businesses, local authority employment services and job centres, our employment programmes and recruitment fairs can connect you with enthusiastic future staff members.
Businesses have already helped us get over 16,000 local residents back to work, or into work for the first time. Find out about our programmes.
Be part of our dynamic careers events
Throughout the year we hold careers fairs for adults and young people. Whether you are a public sector employer, charity, small local businesses or global enterprise, these are great opportunities to build brand awareness.
