What You’ll Be Doing

You'll be at the heart of our exciting projects – helping the team plan, deliver, and evaluate careers programmes that create real opportunities for young people.

 

Key responsibilities include

  • Supporting the admin and logistics behind work experience and employer engagement programmes
  • Communicating with schools, colleges, and businesses
  • Helping organise events, meetings, and workshops
  • Maintaining accurate records and tracking project milestones
  • Using tools like Microsoft Office and social media to keep everything running smoothly
  • Collecting data and supporting the team to report on impact and outcomes.

You’ll gain a deep understanding of how careers projects are run from start to finish – all while working toward a recognised qualification and building skills for your future career.

What we’re looking for

 Essential:

  • A genuine interest in education, careers, or youth development
  • Great communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude
  • Ability to stay organised, meet deadlines, and manage tasks
  • Confidence using tools like Word, Excel, and email

Desirable (but not required):

  • Experience planning events or managing logistics (e.g. in school or volunteering)
  • Familiarity with apprenticeships, work experience, or youth programmes
  • Some knowledge of project management tools like Trello or Asana
