Support to help businesses find and keep talent
We are looking for businesses and organisations to support our employment programmes. Our programmes can help you find local talent, support you and them while they learn on the job, and also provide support to existing employees who are at risk of losing their job for health, caring duties, financial reasons for example.

Complementing this our ‘No Wrong Door’ approach is improving connections between businesses, employment advisors, and people looking for work and training. We provide free resources, signposting, and training to help businesses become more inclusive and disability confident.
Addressing skills gaps within businesses
We are engaging with businesses and representative bodies to ensure employers’ needs shape training provision locally in five key sectors identified in our Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP):
• Construction.
• Digital and Creative.
• Health and Social Care.
• Manufacturing.
• Transport/Logistics.
Helping businesses thrive in the digital age
