As required by the Department for Education (DfE), this progress report provides a comprehensive overview of progress against the fifteen actionable priorities outlined in the Local London LSIP, as well as areas that require further attention.

2023-2024 was a hugely positive year for Local London. Our 2023-24 Annual Report marks the progress we have made against our Three Year Plan: Towards 2026.
Integration Hub Listening Exercise Report by Localis
Produced by independent think-tank, Localis, this report highlights key findings from conversations with frontline staff involved in helping people find work or training opportunities. This research has informed the direction of travel for the Local London Integration Hub, including the development of a sub-regional Local London Standard Framework setting out the level of service that residents should receive regardless of which borough they are in and their point of access.
Mind the Skills Gap
‘Mind the Skills Gap’ is our employer-led plan for improving skills and training in Local London. Centred on employers’ needs, this is a first step towards tackling employment skills shortages in this part of London. Highlighting the specific needs and priorities of employers in Barking and Dagenham, Bexley, Bromley, Enfield, Greenwich, Havering, Newham, Redbridge and Waltham Forest, ‘Mind the Skills Gap’ also outlines actionable proposals for addressing these gaps.
Compiled by independent research agency, Institute for Employment Studies (IES), Local London’s ‘Mind the Skills Gap’ plan forms one of the four sub-regional annexes to the pan-London Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) developed by Business LDN and approved by the Secretary of State for Education in August 2023.

Skills and Employment Overview 2022-25
The Local London Skills and Employment Overview 2022-25 considers how we can contribute to the future of skills and employment in our sub-region as the landscape of skills planning changes with the introduction of Local Skills Reports; the Skills and Post-16 Education Act that became Law in April 2022; the statutory roll-out of Local Skills Improvement Partnerships across the country and in London, and their development of employer-led Local Skills Plans.
Skills and Employment Overview 2022-25 – Technical Annex
The Technical Annex contains the core indicators and additional data to the Local London Skills and Employment Overview 2022-25. It replicates the layout and format of the GLA London Skills Report (LSR) Technical Annexe: Core Indicators and Additional Data. This is to ensure that there is a clear narrative between the Local London report and the London report, as well as common metrics that enable comparability between the Local London sub-region and London.
